I have been to K-Tech twice now. Choosing an auto shop is somehow personal, as you must trust the shop and staff and also feel you are getting a fair and square deal, and that your car is worth spending the money on, not causing higher expenditures than a good car should. If a money guzzler, I'd like the shop I go to to help me assess my situation. The staff, at both times I brought my car in, have been very good. Clear, friendly, professional; when I was frustrated, they were patient. The costs surprised me both times I came in. It could be I need to go back to having a honda, but it is upsetting to bring in a car that seems to be running fine and be told it news $1500 of work. Both times. Not your fault, I"m sure. I asked if staff thought I should sell the car, and staff normalized the need to spend that kind of money. That's where I feel confused. That was NOT normal with my honda. After the first visit, I took it elsewhere, not knowing if you were inventing work or if it was needed. The work did cost pretty much the same in the end. My own thought is I should buy another car and get rid of this one that causes that level of cost. I don't know what staff can do here, but that was the area of frustration (my car/ the cost) and receiving some advice about cars and costs was not as satisfying as the rest. I wish you guys great success in your business, I do have very good feelings about you, mixed feelings about trying to understand how to keep costs down, and the staff's ability to advise me on that.
