I have a 46-year-old Mercedes 200 D fintail that I will probably be buried in after I die. I had a problem with an odd vibration that made driving unsavory and I took it to three different mechanics who all told me "That's just how old cars are." Nobody could diagnose what the problem was nor were they interested in trying to figure it out, but they were happy to take my money for other repairs that they insisted my car needed. Enter K-Tech. Jack, the diesel mechanic, and Kevin, the service manager, were consistently friendly and professional. They listened to my concerns and didn't act like I was nuts. In the end Jack diagnosed two separate issues, which they fixed, one of which required an ingenious solution, due to a power steering apparatus that had been previously installed that didn't fit properly. Jack, with help from his amazing assistant, did an awesome job. My car runs like it had just left the factory in Germany back in 1967. I love driving it and couldn't be more stoked. They work on my daughters' cars now, too, and both are very satisfied. K-Tech will do a free overall inspection and let you know what they find and what it would cost to fix it, but they won't pressure you. They have free loaner cars for when your repairs take more than a day or two. They also regularly give away cars to people in need. I did drop quite a few Bennies for the repairs, but the prices were fair and worth every penny. I can't help but think K-Tech puts so much emphasis on customer service and attention to detail because IT IS OWNED BY A WOMAN. xxx

I appreciate the fast service doing my diagnostic. The man at the counter was very nice and friendly. If I need help with my Volvo when I am up North visiting again I will be back and tell everyone I know that it is a great place to bring your car. thank you Jennifer

I'm new to town but found these guys on Yelp and with high marks so I took my 2011 Impreza to them. It needed a 45K service and the bumper had been knocked off a bit on a curb. They were very professional and I felt I could trust the service advisor instantly. I'll certainly go back and feel good that they are local. I think it really helps to establish a relationship with a good local shop for a car. I'll stick with these folks.

Thank you so much for taking into consideration my activities to usher for 6th. Street Theater and to sing with the Love Choir by loaning me your K-Tech Prius so I could attend my holiday events over the weekend. Kevin, your communication skills are OUTSTANDING - You made sure I knew what was going on with my car and gave me an appointment EARLIER than expected. Mechanics - THANK YOU for diagnosing and repairing my 13 year old Jetta so it continues to purr along. I'm so impressed with K-Tech I'll definitely tell my friends and make high recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly you guys were able to dial in the problem, get it repaired, and get it back to me. The car runs great, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a good experience, and I will recommend to friends and family.

Strange noises in front brakes while in downtown Sebastopol so I stopped by K-Tech (first time). Kevin kept car overnite for brake and safety check (about $62). I was told that the noises occur under certain conditions due to the type of brakepads I had gotten previously. K-Tech could replace them with a better type of pad, but I was also told that the ones I had are ok and there is no safety issue so replacement is optional. I appreciated this advice. Kevin was pleasant and informative.
