Sebastopol Auto Repair

We have a VW Jetta Wagon TDI (Diesel) and they have been taking care of it for almost a year now. They've been doing great work. No complaints.

Having recently moved to the Sebastopol area I was in real need of a qualified and competent auto repair shop that could work on my Mercedes. I found just that in K-Tech Automotive. What a great group of automotive repair professionals. I would recommend Kate and the other techs at K-Tech Automotive to anyone in need of a service or repair for their car!

These folks have been fantastic to me. I have three very different cars--a Chevy truck, Jetta wagon and Porsche. They have done right by all of them. Also, they pick me up and drop me off when I can't get a ride there (which is almost always!) That's service. It's always nice when "shopping local" also means getting the best.

Kate is really professional and knowledgeable and educates her customers. I completely trust her work.

I have consistently received outstanding service at K Tech Automotive. Kate personally inspected two used vehicles for me and helped me make a solid decision about which to purchase. She itemized service suggestions and when they would need to be addressed, as well as the prices. Whenever any little thing gives me trouble I know I can stop in and check with K Tech and they will either fix the problem or send me to the right place. For one problem I had no idea where to go, it was fixed quickly and efficiently and I was charged just 1/2 hour labor. You can't go wrong at K Tech!

I live in Sebastopol and recently purchased a VW TDI. When the check engine light came on, I called and reserved a appointment at K Tech for diagnostic and repair. They did a great job identifying the problem and fixing it. At all times, I felt that they were being honest about the best service for the car. While the repair did take longer than expected, it was due mostly to how thoroughly they investigated the problem. I have driven the car for over 300 miles now, and the light hasn't come back on! I also got great advice about how to smog the car effectively, and about future service that would make the car run more efficiently and with more power. I definitely plan on taking my car back to K Tech.

Kate is extremely refreshing: patient, thorough, generous, and expertly competent. I am totally confident that she will find everything wrong with my car, and yet not push me to do anything but what is necessary for safety or mechanical longevity. Her shop is professional and friendly, and she is very generous with her time. Highly recommended.

These ladies rock! I had a problem with my truck and needed to get to Reno asap, so they stayed until 8:30pm to finish the job and do it right. From the reception down to the mechanics it was a great experience. Will definitely use again :)
