I strongly advise against doing business with this company. From the very beginning, our experience was incredibly frustrating. My 18-year-old son had spent the last 18 months saving to buy his first car. He connected with a technician named Fernando, who was unprofessional, difficult to communicate with, and changed the price of the lien sale vehicle twice during the process. He also tried to rush him into a purchase and tried to create a false sense of urgency that was unneeded. Very negative used-car salesman signals. Despite these red flags, my son was determined to purchase the 1999 Jeep Cherokee, so we proceeded with an independent inspection at a reputable shop in Santa Rosa. Fernando agreed to meet us at Coogler's Automotive on Piner Road in Santa Rosa for a third-party evaluation. The results were alarming. The vehicle had multiple SERIOUS issues that he was not honest about: - A loud growling noise from the rear, likely due to a failing bearing - Metal particles in the rear differential fluid - A fan clutch with missing bolts - Combustion gases present in the cooling system, indicating a probable head gasket issue or worse (failing motor) - A disconnected sway bar just hanging from the suspension system - And tons of other issues I don't feel like listing out When these issues were presented, Fernando immediately accused the shop of lying. What in the world??? Coogler's promptly displayed photo evidence right then and there and diagnostic reports, five in total, proving the presence of combustion gases in the engine. They even demonstrated that the repeated tests showed increasing levels of contamination as the engine ran longer. Undeniable evidence. And yet, Fernando still says "liars." Fernando insisted he was a skilled mechanic, but the facts clearly said otherwise. This kind of behavior, denying clear evidence, attempting to mislead a young buyer, and then RETALIATING against a reputable shop with a 1-star online review, speaks volumes about his, Pauline's, and K-Tech's integrity and professionalism. In my opinion, this company and it's ownership, which was notified about the issue and chose to do nothing about it, is not trustworthy. If this is how they attempt to misrepresent vehicles for sale, I can only imagine how they conduct themselves when it comes to repairs. Proceed with extreme caution.

This shop lied and took advantage of me during a very difficult time. I was literally living in my car (1987 Volvo 760 Turbo) which needed a main fuel pump. I brought the car to K tech and 2 weeks later they called me and said they had replaced the main fuel pump. When I went to pick it up and pay the bill with my last $1,020* they proceeded to try to snowball me into more unnecessary repairs and the mechanic mocked me as I went to test the car which in fact had not been repaired! I had a spare key walked up to my car unlocked my car and tested it and it was in fact not repaired. This was devastating. Being the way this shady shop functions they withheld my car and essentially scammed me out of it due to the fact I could not afford the “repairs” they wanted to do. I loved my car and this was absolutely heartbreaking.

Your staff has always been attentive and respectful. I’ve received a discount which has been appreciated. I am a bit frustrated that my rear brakes have been squeaky since they were replaced and after two return trips, finally, the lead tech (Johnny) confirmed he heard the noise as I was driving out of the driveway. To be clear, Johnny, was not the tech who replaced my rear brakes rooters. I’m in the process of making a third appointment to have the squeaking resolved and have faith that this final service will be successful. Thank you!

I keep returning to K-Tech because they are reliable, trustworthy, responsive to my needs, and always keep me informed about the progress of the repair. They found my problem with the power steering and provided a loaner car while they repaired my vehicle. All the while, I got updates on the progress of things so that I could know what was going on. Much gratitude for K-Tech.
